AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By accessing and using the Blue Salt Honey website (bluesalthoney.com) or booking any services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this website or book services.

Blue Salt Honey reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

ABOUT BLUE SALT HONEY

Blue Salt Honey, operated by Kelly White, provides wellness services including sound meditation, Reiki energy work, meditative writing workshops, and related offerings. Services are provided in Seattle, Washington and remotely via online platforms.

NATURE OF SERVICES

Sound Meditation

Sound meditation sessions use crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and other instruments to create immersive experiences that support deep rest, relaxation, and self-discovery.

Reiki

Reiki sessions involve gentle touch or hands hovering near the body to guide energy, supporting relaxation, balance, and release of what has been held physically, emotionally, and energetically.

Meditative Writing & Workshops

Workshops (including The Darning Room) use writing, journaling, and creative practices to help participants give voice to different parts of themselves and explore personal healing.

Training & Intensives

Blue Salt Honey offers Reiki training (Levels I, II, and Master) in the Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki lineage, as well as multi-week intensive programs combining multiple modalities.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMERS

Not Medical Treatment

Blue Salt Honey services are not medical treatment and do not replace conventional medical care. Sound meditation, Reiki, and meditative writing are complementary wellness practices designed to support relaxation, stress reduction, and personal growth.

Kelly White is not a licensed healthcare provider, physician, psychologist, psychiatrist, or mental health professional. Services provided do not constitute medical diagnosis, treatment, or therapy.

If you have a medical or psychological condition, you must:

  • Continue seeing your licensed healthcare providers

  • Consult your doctor before beginning any new wellness practice

  • Follow all treatment plans prescribed by your healthcare providers

  • Seek emergency medical care if needed

No Guaranteed Outcomes

While many people find benefit from these practices, results are not guaranteed. Individual experiences vary. Blue Salt Honey makes no claims, promises, or guarantees about specific outcomes or results from any service.

Client Responsibility

By booking services, you acknowledge that:

  • You are responsible for your own health and wellbeing

  • You will make your own informed decisions about your care

  • You will not hold Blue Salt Honey responsible for any decisions you make regarding your health

  • You understand healing is a personal process that requires your active participation

ELIGIBILITY & CONTRAINDICATIONS

General Requirements

Clients must be at least 18 years old to book services independently. Minors may participate with parental/guardian consent and presence.

Health Conditions

Please inform Kelly White if you have any of the following conditions, as modifications or alternative approaches may be needed:

  • Pregnancy

  • Recent surgery or injury

  • Seizure disorders

  • Diagnosed mental health conditions (particularly psychosis, schizophrenia, or severe dissociative disorders)

  • Sensitivity to sound or vibration

  • Any condition that may affect your ability to lie still or sit comfortably

Substance Use

Do not attend sessions under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs. If you arrive intoxicated or under the influence, the session will be cancelled with no refund, and future bookings may be refused.

BOOKING & PAYMENT

Appointments

All services are by appointment only. Appointments must be scheduled in advance through the Blue Salt Honey website, email, or other agreed-upon method.

Payment

Payment is required at time of booking unless other arrangements have been made. Accepted payment methods will be specified during booking.

Cancellation Policy

Client Cancellations:

  • More than 48 hours before appointment: Credit toward future session

  • Less than 48 hours before appointment: No refund

Late Arrivals: If you arrive late for your session, the session will end at the originally scheduled time and the full fee applies.

Emergency Situations: In case of genuine emergency, contact Kelly White as soon as possible. Exceptions to the cancellation policy may be made on a case-by-case basis.

Practitioner Cancellations: If Blue Salt Honey must cancel or reschedule, you will receive full refund or opportunity to reschedule at no penalty.

No-Show Policy

Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without cancellation will result in forfeiture of the full session fee.

Refund Policy for Training Programs

Reiki Training and Intensive Programs are non-refundable once training begins. Cancellations made more than 14 days before program start date will receive 50% refund. No refunds for cancellations made less than 14 days before start date.

In cases of illness or emergency, credit toward future training may be offered at discretion of Blue Salt Honey.

CONDUCT & ETHICS

Respectful Interaction

All interactions between clients and practitioner must be respectful, professional, and appropriate. Blue Salt Honey reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who engages in:

  • Abusive, threatening, or harassing behavior

  • Inappropriate sexual conduct or commentary

  • Discrimination or hate speech

  • Violation of boundaries

  • Any behavior that creates an unsafe environment

Confidentiality

Information shared during sessions is kept confidential except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to prevent harm.

Consent

All services are provided with your informed consent. You may decline or discontinue any service at any time.

REMOTE/ONLINE SESSIONS

Some services are offered via video conferencing platforms (Zoom or similar). By booking remote sessions, you agree to:

  • Provide a quiet, private space free from distractions

  • Ensure stable internet connection

  • Use appropriate video/audio equipment

  • Take responsibility for your own safety and environment

Blue Salt Honey is not responsible for technical difficulties, interruptions, or limitations of remote sessions.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Website Content

All content on the Blue Salt Honey website, including text, images, graphics, logos, and design elements, is the property of Kelly White/Blue Salt Honey or used with permission.

You may view and print content for personal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without written permission.

Workshop Materials

Materials provided during workshops or training (including handouts, recordings, workbooks) are for personal use only and may not be reproduced, shared, or used for commercial purposes without permission.

PHOTOGRAPHY & RECORDING

During Services

Blue Salt Honey may take photographs or videos during events for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform Kelly BE in advance.

Client Recording

You may not record (audio or video) any session, workshop, or training without explicit written permission from Blue Salt Honey.

PRODUCTS & RETAIL

Product Sales

Products sold through Blue Salt Honey (via the "Gathered" section or otherwise) are sold as-is. While we curate products we trust, Blue Salt Honey makes no warranties about products' effectiveness or suitability for any purpose.

Returns

All products sold are final sale.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Blue Salt Honey, Kelly White, and any associated practitioners or staff shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Use of services or inability to use services

  • Reliance on information provided

  • Any injuries, accidents, or damages occurring during or after sessions

  • Decisions made based on sessions or information provided

  • Technical issues with website or online services

Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.

Assumption of Risk

By participating in services, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of wellness practices, including but not limited to:

  • Physical discomfort during or after sessions

  • Emotional responses or psychological reactions

  • Spiritual or energetic experiences

  • Unanticipated reactions to sound, touch, or other modalities

INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Blue Salt Honey, Kelly White, and any associated parties from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of services

  • Your violation of these Terms of Service

  • Your violation of any rights of another party

  • Any false or misleading information you provide

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & LINKS

The Blue Salt Honey website may contain links to third-party websites or recommendations for other practitioners, products, or services (such as in the "Gathered" section).

Blue Salt Honey:

  • Does not endorse or guarantee third-party services or products

  • Is not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices

  • Makes no warranties regarding third-party services

Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and that party.

PRIVACY

Your use of the Blue Salt Honey website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or services provided:

  1. Informal Resolution: Parties agree to first attempt to resolve disputes through good faith negotiation.

  2. Mediation: If negotiation fails, parties agree to attempt mediation in Seattle, Washington.

  3. Jurisdiction: Any legal action must be brought in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.

Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute will be brought on an individual basis only and not as part of any class or representative action.

SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms of Service, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms provided at time of service, constitute the entire agreement between you and Blue Salt Honey.
